Privacy

Need extra privacy protection for your banking transactions, lending and accounts?

As part of our close-knit bonded community, we understand how crucial privacy is . . .

Especially when you’re surrounded by familiar faces.

Sometimes, the standard privacy measures for your banking accounts, transactions, lending, and everyday banking may not provide the level of comfort you need. That’s why we offer “restricted access technology,” ensuring that only your selected few authorised bank employees with special permissions can view or manage your account details.

In our community, your privacy matters, and we’re here to safeguard it.

You, or a legal representative, can request restricted access at any time. Whether you’re opening a new account, applying for a loan, or already managing your finances with us, we’re here to ensure your personal information remains confidential within our trusted community.

Because we are a community where many of us know each other, we understand the importance of keeping certain information private. You might be eligible for restricted access if any of the following applies to you:

  • Family or Friends/Associations with Bank Employees: Immediate family members or close associations with banking staff can also qualify.
  • Prominent Public Figures: If you’re a politician, judge, well-known athlete, media personality, or actor.
  • Family of Public Figures: Immediate family members of prominent public figures can also request this protection.
  • Bank Employees: If you’re a bank employee, contractor, board member, or closely associated with the bank.
  • Under Police Protection or Legal Orders: If you’re under police protection or are part of an active legal order (e.g., family violence or witness protection), you may qualify for restricted access.

Even if none of these situations applies to you, we will still carefully consider your request for restricted access. Our community is built on trust, and we are committed to protecting your privacy.

You can request restricted access by submitting our Extended Privacy Request Form or by reaching out to us directly—whether in person, over the phone, or online. We understand that within our bonded community, ensuring your privacy is essential, and we will respond to your request within 7 days.

With this restriction in place, we anticipate that most of your transactions will be conducted via digital banking platforms. Alternatively, you can select one or more staff members as your primary point of contact for account-related matters. These staff you have personally selected will handle your banking needs with the highest level of discretion, ensuring your privacy as a valued member of our community and financial institution. All other staff will be restricted from your account and membership details.

No one outside your selected restricted access personnel can view your Deposit or Loan Accounts, transaction history, account balances, or spending patterns. Your day-to-day banking remains private, just between you and those you trust from our Dnister Team.  You can change / remove this access any time on request.

Dnister recognises the importance of protecting our Members’ privacy.

All personal and financial information we hold about our members is securely stored and protected against unauthorised access.

All staff are committed to fulfilling the requirements of the Privacy Act and honouring the need for confidentiality in all dealings with Member’s personal or financial details.
