How do you use Bank@Post?

A Dnister Visa Debit card, Cuecard or a Barcoded Deposit Book linked directly to your nominated Dnister account is required to utilise this service. Click here to find out about Everyday Banking products.

Step 1.

Present your Visa Debit card, Cuecard or Barcoded Deposit Book and tell the Australia Post staff that you would like to make a Bank@Post transaction.

Step 2.

Swipe or insert your Cuecard and enter your PIN to begin.

How do I obtain a Barcoded Deposit Book?

To have this service enabled, you will be required to order a barcoded deposit book via our Member Service Team. This will have your specific Dnister account details encoded for the use of the Australia Post staff to process your transaction/s. Applications for this facility are available to all members who hold an Everyday Access, Pensioner Savings or Community Access Account. To find out more, contact our friendly Member Services team.

Bank@Post serves as a convenient alternative to depositing cash and cheques outside of our branch network.

When will Bank@Post deposits be available in my Dnister account?

Cash Only Cash deposit will be available the next business day.
Checque Only Cheque clearance is 3 business days.
Cash & Cheque Cash and cheque deposits will be cleared in 3 business days.

For combined cash and cheque deposits, we recommend that you make two separate deposits so you can have the cash available the next business day.

Things you should know
1 Part of Dnister’s ATM/eftpos daily limits. Subject to the withdrawal limit on your Visa Debit Card or Cuecard and the availability of cash at the outlet.
2 Cash deposits Visa Debit Card – Maximum value per transaction $3,000.00, this will be increased to $9,999.95 from February 2025. Cash deposits Cuecard – Maximum value per transaction $9,999.95. Funds scheduled to be deposited  into Dnister account next business day
3 Coin deposits – Maximum value of loose coins per transaction accepted $20.00
4 Cheque Deposits – Maximum number of cheques per transaction 99. Maximum value of cheques per transaction $999,999.99. Cheque clearance 3 business days
