| Details | Following a very successful launch at the State Library of Victoria, AUV Geelong invites you to a presentation of Dr. Natalie Senjov-Makohon’s book ‘Two Twigs’.
This is a tribute to the first Ukrainians to settle in Geelong and celebrates 70 yrs of Ukrainian settlement in Australia. The book explores the journey taken by two groups of Ukrainian emigrants who came from two distinct areas in Europe after World War 2 and formed a community in Geelong in the 1950s and early 1960s. The story is about the development of their cultural life in Geelong. |
