The Dnister Executive Team are a dedicated management group that provide a range of strong skills and attributes to support the delivery of company objectives as set-out by the Board of Directors.

The Executives are supported by a wonderful staff network who are committed to providing members with excellence in service and delivery of our company mission of “Financial Advantage, Prosperity and Wealth for Members and the Ukrainian Community in Australia”.

Andrew JamesChief Executive Officer / Company Secretary

Andrew has over 35 years of leadership experience as an Executive and other Senior roles in Banking and Finance.

He is a values-based leader who prides himself on acting with integrity, honesty and trust, with a desire to leave legacies wherever he goes.

He is dedicated to leading Dnister forward, together with the Board of Directors and Staff, in providing great financial services and increasing value for our members and their communities, well into the future.

Paul Coulson
Paul CoulsonChief Financial Officer

Paul has more than 20 years’ experience in senior finance roles including Head of Finance at BankVic and State Business Manager at NAB.

Paul is responsible for Dnisters financial and regulatory reporting, annual budgeting, funding and capital management.

He is committed to working with the board, staff and stakeholders to further build the Dnister culture and performance.

Philip Timewell
Philip TimewellChief Risk Officer

Philip brings a wide range of experience with over 30 years in financial services and the last 20 years in risk management and compliance activities from several financial institutions prior to joining Dnister.

He is committed to working with directors, fellow executives, management and staff to maintain and enhance the strong frameworks and culture already in place to deliver sustainable and lasting results to Dnister.

Ivanka has contributed to Dnister for over 16 years and as a tertiary qualified accountant has undertaken various roles within the organisation. Ivanka’ scope of experience extends from Member Services through to Finance where she has worked in various roles covering many aspects of the business. This has enabled her to be promoted to Branch Supervisor in Essendon and is currently the Acting Loans and Member Services Executive.

Sonja van de CampMarketing and ICT Executive

Sonja combines her strategic and business skills with creativity and project management expertise to deliver strategic marketing, information and communications technology to the company.

Sonja is a member of the Australian Marketing Institute and integrates her work with maintaining a close working relationship with community organisations.
